For almost two years of spending my entire time at home and the rest of it at the office without even realizing that the earth has already revolved its orbit a couple of times already.
And me?
Well, stagnant to where I am now.
I used to travel when I was still dancing together with my fellow dancers. We jump from town to town, locally and nationwide just to dance. We were invited by a different company that wants to have a little entertainment with their seminar or any program they organized and also invited as a guest in some festivals in the country. Every time we travel, all expenses are being sponsored by the person who invited us. Of course, We then earn money. Isn't it amazing? We go to different places, meet different people and know a different culture and tradition without spending our own instead with gain from it. But all of these are historical.
As I am aging and matured both in physical and mental aspect, nature has forced me to do the things I must do. Being a dancer has no stable and fix income. When no project, no profit as well. At this point, I give up the things I love to do, I looked for a job that can definitely sustain my needs and buy my wants.I was hired Nov. 19, 2012 and starts to living a life that is only bound with a four-cornered office, sitting and talking for 8 hours and facing the monitor of my computer. Guess what? It's boring, right? After every shift I go home then sleep then will wake up three hours prior my log in time and do the same thing again and again.
Without any other outlet to express myself, no other happiness to enjoy life and the worst thing is that i have no passion on the job I'm in right now. I simply work to earn money and put food on the table for me and my family.
One day I decided to save money for my ambition to buy my own high-end camera. This camera are expenses that took me to struggle in buying one. 70% of my salary goes to my saving, I even go on duty having 30.00 pesos in my pocket, my daily budget for 10 days of work until the next payday comes. It took me three months to complete the amount of the camera I desire. Believe it or not, I survived that three months and bought the thing I loved the most.
Opportunity knocked at my door, a week after I bought my camera my teammates had already a plan to go on vacation in Roxas City, Philippines for our team building. It means a chance for me to put my small knowledge of photography into action and of course a time for me spent my time without worry about the work. At the back of my head, I said to myself this is the time for me to unwind and for almost two years of working it is time for me to have a break and be with myself.
Let me share one of the photos that I love the most while we're in Roxas City.
